Info
Owen Phillips is not a run-of-the-mill illustrator, having started professional work from the age of 16 and coming from a graffiti/street art background. He went on to study Illustration/Design at Camberwell and has recently graduated from BA (Hons) Illustration at the University of Brighton. His work has already featured in magazines such as the Illustrated Ape, Computer Arts and Graphotism and published books such as 'The Art Of Rebellion 2' and 'Itzastickup'. Owen has produced artwork for Aquasky and Passenger Records as well as Wrong Music and production company Nothing To See Here. He continues to show his work in international exhibitions and has exhibited along side Banksy, D*Face and Pete Fowler. He also contributes work to the Finders Keepers exhibitions in Barcelona and Milan.
Owen has now embarked on a new project with partner in crime D*Face. 'StolenSpace,' a design studio and showroom like no other, will be based in the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in the heart of east London. The space will open in the summer of 2006.
